What is Nitrox? Nitrox is classified as any breathing gas that contains more than 21% oxygen, the normal air we breath on the surface. During the course students will learn the advantages of diving with nitrox up to 40% oxygen, how to analyze different gas mixtures, and how an increased percentage of oxygen affects your body and dive profile.
