Natural reefs are wonderful habitats to explore while diving but an often-overlooked demographic of dive sites are artificial reefs. Whether sunk purposefully by local government or as a casualty of war or storms. Wrecks provide wonderful habitats for a wide array of life as well as give us a glimpse into the past. Much like a museum there are some special rules and regulations in place to protect us as divers, the integrity of the wreck itself, and whatever materials may still be inside them.
